The AWCR offers significant opportunities to upskill the welding workforce in Australia. Ideally this will be achieved by conducting short refresher training courses prior to applicants taking a weld test.
In the event that an applicant fails a weld test, Weld Australia strongly recommends that they attend a refresher course before undertaking a re-test.
It is important to note that Approved Examiners must not conduct training for which they subsequently examine.
