Certification

Initial Application for Certification Program

Certification Program  [2 Years Certification including 6 monthly confirmation]:

  • Weld Australia Member or Associate Member: $45 per weld procedure, capped at $200 per program
  • Non-member: $65 per weld procedure, capped at $400 per program

Re-test

In the event that a welder fails a weld test they will be granted one re-test application at No Charge.  

Subsequent re-tests will require reapplication and will be charged at the full rate.

Practical Weld Test

Initial Test

Fees for practical weld tests are set and directly charged by Approved Examiners or Testing Centres.  Charges will depend on the scope of the program applied for; the number of welders attempting the test; and the material, equipment, and testing required to meet the Standard.

Re-test

Charges for re-tests will be at the discretion of the Testing Centre or Approved Examiner.
