What Do I Need To Start My Exam?

  • A valid (non-expired) government issued photo ID
  • The Guardian Browser installed
  • Your WeldQ ID and Password
  • A working webcam and microphone
  • A steady internet connection
  • A desk or hard surface
  • A private room
  • A mobile phone or reflective surface

What Resources Are Allowed?

When you start your examination pre-checks, you will be given the permitted resources for your exam. Generally, candidates are permitted to have a:

  • Calculator
  • Pen/Pencil
  • Clean white sheet of paper

For AS 1796 Cert 10 and AS 2214 Application of Standards Examinations (Paper B1 and Paper B2 ONLY), you are permitted digital or physical copies of the required standards ONLY. You are not permitted notes, reference material or any other resources.
